WORLDbytes is the online alternative news channel created by volunteers at WORLDwrite. It aims to get behind the headlines and promote a people-first perspective on a wide-range of issues: so don’t shout at the telly, change the message on it! Check out www.worldbytes.org
WORLDbytes is offering a unique opportunity for new volunteers to join the crew and take part in a two day intensive on-the-job film training weekend while shooting for news programmes. The training is free for young people aged 16 – 25 who would like to get involved in the charity’s work and join more shoots, presentations and discussions in the future. The training is on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December 2009. To get involved and be part of the crew you should be available for both days of the course. Group interviews will be held on Tuesday 17th or Thursday 19th November at 7.30pm at the WORLDwrite Centre in Hackney. Places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment by applying online at http://www.worldbytes.org/training-booking.html
